Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in designing and implementing reliable and scalable systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
  • Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for critical issues outside of regular working hours.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our systems and applications remain competitive and secure.
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing reliable and scalable systems and applications.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, containerization, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
