Senior System Administrator

Software International is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Systems Team, you will be responsible for the technical management, operations, and ongoing maintenance and support of our large-scale production websites and networks.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and support LAMP environment
- Maintain vendor relationships for technical infrastructure
- Work with Development Team Leads and Project Management on website projects
- Participate in planning and project discussions with Senior Management
- Analyze and assess areas of risk to systems and recommend changes
- Ensure high-level systems data security
- Perform systems and network architectural design
- Act as single point of escalation for production issues
- Effectively manage risk and monitor system redundancy and backups
- Provide technical assistance and consultation to all areas of the company
- 5+ years of experience with LAMP
- Minimum of 2+ years of management/leadership experience in a technology-oriented organization
- Strong background with storage SAN (NFS and iSCSI)
- Well-versed with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats, and Logstash)
- Hands-on experience working with Linux in a Systems Administrative role
- Hands-on experience working with Advanced Network Administrative role
- MySQL maintenance and troubleshooting
- LAN/WAN/VPN setup and troubleshooting
- Linux-based and other firewall technology
- Cloud technologies (OpenStack, oVirt, RHEV or similar)
- Baremetal hardware, SAN, Switching and Load-balancing
- Backup technologies
- Systems security
- Automation systems (Ansible, Puppet or equivalent)
- Expertise with multiple Web technologies including HTTP, SSL, DNS, and SMTP protocols

Required End Date: 12 months + renewable every year
Type: Contract
Total Hours Approved Per Role: 40h/week
Rate: $39 - 41/hr C2C (approx $80,000 - $84,000/year)
