Technical Project Management Role at Paymentus

We are seeking an experienced Techical Project Manager to join our innovative team. This is a full-time position that requires sitting or standing at a computer workstation.

About the Job

This role involves leading technical projects from inception to completion, aligning with company goals and customer needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement payment solutions using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to manage project timelines and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain project plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and quality assurance, to design and implement payment solutions.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, project sponsors, and team members, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects to ensure minimal impact on the business.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality deliverables by conducting thorough testing and quality checks.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 7-10 years of experience in payment processing or billing functions at consumer-driven companies.
  • Candidates must exhibit experience in a client-facing role, leading a multi-position team, and implementing successful project plans with a focus on client support.
  • A strong understanding of payment processing methodologies and emerging payment methods.
  • Proficiency in API technology and integration with billing systems.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
