Senior Data Center Commissioning Project Manager

Veolia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Center Commissioning Project Manager to join our Mission Critical team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex commissioning projects for data centers, financial institutions, and power plants across North America.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with a team of qualified professionals and degreed engineers to deliver high-quality commissioning projects.
- Manage a team of subcontractors and client vendors on a project-by-project basis.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Be a technical subject matter expert for complex mission critical projects.
- Develop procedures, methods, and testing scripts for clients, projects, and internally.
- Lead client meetings, schedules, issue resolutions, and deficiency resolutions for projects.
- Craft proposals for client RFPs and project pricing requests.
- Assist with Veolia/SourceOne departmental budgets, KPIs, and financial planning for the responsible Canadian region.
- Collate all documentation of contractors, subcontractors, client representatives, and 3rd-party vendors, and check for correctness and accuracy.
- Back-check and ultimately be accountable for the work of subcontractors on client projects.
- Minimum 5-10 years of electrical industry knowledge and educational experience.
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.
- Demonstrated experience managing design, energy services, and commissioning projects and project resources to a predetermined scope, fee, and schedule.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NETA and other building codes and construction industry standards, such as ASHRAE and LEED.
- Professional Engineer licensed in the or Canada, but will accept Engineer In Training or member of the professional Engineering Body.
- LEED Associate preferred but not essential.
- PMP certified preferred but not essential.
- Canadian CSA Z462 Electrical Safety qualified, or NFPA 70E accepted as equivalent.
- InfraRed Thermography Certified preferred.
The ideal candidate will work remotely from Toronto, Montreal, and/or Calgary in Canada, with required travel. Roles require extensive local, national, and occasional international travel. Positions may require employees to be away from home on assignments between an average of 40% and up to 70% of the time, over a period of a year.
