About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at AST Restaurant Inc. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
    • Place dishes in storage areas
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
    • Package take-out food
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
    • Handle and store cleaning products
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Physical Demands
    • Repetitive tasks
    • Standing for extended periods
  • Weight Handling
    • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
    Work Environment

This is a 40-hour per week position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
