About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Waterplant Too Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages for our customers.
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are served in a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
    • Sanitize all dishes, utensils, and equipment to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Ensure that all supplies are properly labeled and stored to prevent spoilage and contamination.
  • Waste Management
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all waste is disposed of in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • General Maintenance
    • Assist in the maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset, but not required.
  • Language
    • English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours
    • 30 to 40 hours per week.
