Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Soho Blinds Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Ship orders and pick items from inventory
  • Weigh materials and goods, and make labels as needed
  • Pack and unpack goods, and sort, crate, and stack them for storage
  • Install, lash, and secure goods for transportation
  • Store cargo and materials in a secure and accessible manner
  • Organize and maintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory control systems

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Availability for shift or on-call work
