Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at PCR Construction. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, bridges, and other structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts and designs for construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects, and prepare tenders and quotations.
- Supervise and instruct apprentices, and coordinate work on construction sites.
- Maintain and repair existing structures, and renovate buildings and other establishments.
- College diploma or equivalent in carpentry or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in carpentry or a related trade.
- Ability to work at heights, and in physically demanding environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
