Caregiver for Individuals with Physical Disabilities
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide personal support to individuals with physical disabilities in an urban setting. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for administering bedside and personal care, medications, and assisting clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
Responsibilities- Administering medications and providing personal care
- Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1-2 years of experience in caregiving or a related field
- First Aid Certificate and Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The ideal candidate will be willing to relocate to an urban area and have a valid driver's license. The work environment is physically demanding, requiring frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
