Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise staff in food preparation and portioning.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet customer demands. You will be required to stand, walk, and move around the restaurant frequently.

Language: English

Hours: 35 hours per week
