Tax Manager, Cross Border Specialist

KPMG Canada is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Cross Border Tax practice. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with high net worth individuals and their families to provide complex US and Canadian tax compliance and advisory services.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about tax planning and has a strong understanding of Canadian and US tax laws. Your excellent communication and leadership skills will enable you to direct the work of staff and develop strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and lead engagements, including Canadian and US income tax planning, estate planning, and tax compliance.
* Develop and implement tax-planning strategies for clients, leveraging your expertise in trust taxation and estate planning.
* Collaborate with colleagues to provide exceptional client service and drive business growth.

Requirements
* Minimum 4 years of experience in Canadian and US personal tax, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
* US Professional Accounting designation (EA or US CPA) and Canadian CPA are assets.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
