Retail Store Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team at Scanlon Mart. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position with a salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and at least 7 months of experience in a similar role. They should also possess excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise staff, including apprentices and design teams, to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently.
- Hire and train new staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Teach interest and professional development courses to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Authorize payments and manage inventory to ensure that the store is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Establish work schedules and prepare sales reports to provide valuable insights into the store's performance.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that the store is meeting its sales targets.
- Resolve issues, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and effective manner.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods. They will also need to be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods, and have good attention to detail and the ability to distinguish between colors.
Requirements- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- At least 7 months of experience in a similar role.
