Job Overview

The Rehabilitation Services Department at St. Boniface Hospital is seeking a skilled Receptionist II to provide exceptional support to our team. Under the general direction of the Program Support Manager(s), the successful candidate will be responsible for performing receptionist duties, scheduling patient appointments, pre-registering patients, and maintaining related information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff.
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records.
  • Pre-register patients and update related information.
  • Perform general office support duties, including answering phones and responding to emails.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

  • One year of related experience in a patient care setting.
  • Grade 12 or recognized equivalent.
  • Keyboarding speed of 45 wpm.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and common software, including Word processing and email applications.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
