About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Bestway Cabinets & Millworks. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cabinets and millwork for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, and drawings to create custom cabinets and millwork.
  • Assembly and Installation: Trim joints, fit parts and subassemblies together, and install windows, doors, stairs, and hardware.
  • Quality Control: Sand wooden surfaces, apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Project Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions.
  • Work Setting: Industrial, residential, commercial, and millwork/pre-fab shopwork environments.
  • Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, physically demanding work, and combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
