About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Unique Millwork Inc. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for designing, building, and installing custom cabinets and furniture for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Create detailed designs and specifications for custom cabinets and furniture, taking into account client requirements and preferences.
  • Woodworking: Operate various woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
  • Assembly and Finishing: Assemble and finish custom cabinets and furniture, applying varnish, veneer, stain, or polish as needed.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
  • Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
