  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen and ensure efficient service.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and minimize waste.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient service and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a busy kitchen environment.
Work Environment:

Heist Restaurant + Wine Club is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a Cook, you will be working in a kitchen environment that is subject to changing priorities and deadlines. You must be able to adapt quickly to new situations and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen and we require all staff to be proficient in English.Hours:

35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends.
