About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Dispatcher to join our team at RDM Logistics Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials across our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatching and Scheduling: Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews, ensuring that shipments are delivered on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Time Management and Record Keeping: Accurately record and manage time sheets, payroll, and other summaries to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Stay up-to-date with cross-border dispatching regulations, highway trucking rules, and associated practices to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Respond to urgent calls and emergency situations, and adapt to changing circumstances to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Personal Qualities and Skills
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records and ensure attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders.
