Logistics Coordinator

RDM Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and organized Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of our fleet of trucks.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the dispatch of trucks and drivers to meet customer demands and optimize routes.
- Monitor and manage the workload of drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and address concerns.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of driver hours, fuel consumption, and other operational metrics.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in a dispatch or logistics role is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
- Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.
- Dispatch management service software.
- Monitoring and tracking software.
- Electronic mail.
- GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.
- Internet.
