Logistics Coordinator

RDM LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a skilled Dispatcher, Trucks to join our team. As a Dispatcher, Trucks, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials.
- Monitor personnel workloads and locations to optimize dispatching and minimize delays.
- Communicate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations to coordinate logistics and transportation.
- Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
- Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Respond to urgent calls from individuals who require assistance, ensuring prompt and effective support.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
- Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.
- Experience with dispatch management service software and monitoring and tracking software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in logistics and transportation.
- Knowledge of GPS and other navigation equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
