Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Appraisal Manager to lead our Auto Damage Appraisal Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximizing the performance potential of the unit through training and development, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and external legislative requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Auto Damage Appraisal Unit to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Ensure that appraisals are handled in accordance with service level agreements and internal protocols.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Conduct quality and administrative file audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Accountable for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education combined with relevant experience in automotive collision repair or automotive mechanical repair industry.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Collision Estimator or Insurance Appraiser.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with excellent communication skills.
- Advanced technical knowledge of vehicle damage analysis and negotiation skills.
- Progressive experience in training, mentoring, and coaching employees.
