Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Calibration Chemist- Metrology to join our team at SGS. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our equipment and instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement calibration procedures to ensure all laboratory instruments are calibrated and maintained in accordance with SOPs.
  • Perform calibration testing and preventative maintenance on analytical instruments.
  • Collaborate with external service technicians to ensure timely maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Prepare and execute qualification protocols, including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
  • Develop and formalize calibration procedures to ensure all laboratory instruments have calibration SOPs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related biological science.
  • 3-4 years of relevant pharmaceutical lab experience with emphasis on instrumental methods.
  • Prior technical experience in a bio/chemistry related role is preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment or pharmaceutical company is essential.
