About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Headquarters Restaurant & Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
    • Ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in a clean and appealing manner
    • Provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Kitchen Maintenance and Organization
    • Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized kitchen environment
    • Ensure that all equipment and utensils are clean and in good working order
    • Assist in the storage and rotation of food and supplies
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service
Requirements
  • Education and Training
    • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Work Experience
    • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
