Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at 2038909 ALBERTA INC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly sanitized and stored, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
    • Package take-out food and ensure that all food is properly labeled and stored.
  • Kitchen Maintenance
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, and work surfaces.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and ensure that all kitchen supplies are properly stored.
  • Housekeeping
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
    • Carry and replace linen.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Team Support
    • Assist with loading buspans and trays.
    • Set tables and ensure that all dining areas are properly prepared for service.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Experience is an asset.
  • Language
    • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours
    • 40 hours per week.
