We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Insite Construction Management.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks and holes
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- 1-2 years of experience in the painting and decorating industry
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to distinguish between colors
- Flexibility, initiative, and reliability
- Permanent full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- English language support
- Mentorship programs for newcomers and refugees
