Municipal Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities- Assist in project management duties and have the opportunity to grow into a project manager role
- Complete conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design tasks for water and wastewater and/or municipal infrastructure projects
- Perform technical calculations and hydraulic modeling on various platforms
- Prepare technical specifications, reports, memoranda, and permit approval applications
- Participate in periodic site inspections
- Perform contract administration tasks
- Liaise directly with clients, government, and regulatory authorities to address specific project needs
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Active professional member or eligible for such a membership with APEGS
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in the water and wastewater and/or municipal infrastructure fields. More than 2 years of demonstrated relevant experience will be considered an asset.
- Past experience working as a site inspector during construction for water and wastewater and/or municipal infrastructure projects will be considered an asset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
