Accounting Bookkeeper Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at GG Freight Services Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as reconcile accounts.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare financial reports, including trial balance and statistical reports.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain general ledgers, post journal entries, and prepare tax returns.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
