Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Maximum Seafood. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
Work Environment

As an Accounting Clerk at Maximum Seafood, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of professionals. You will have access to public transportation and will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.
