Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Maximum Seafood. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work Environment

As an Accounting Clerk at Maximum Seafood, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of professionals. You will be required to work independently and have excellent time management skills.
