Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Quality Inspector to join our team at Safran Landing Systems. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect materials and products throughout various processes to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Test and measure components and assemblies to verify specifications and ensure proper functioning.
  • Monitor production operations and equipment to ensure proper assembly and testing.
  • Identify and document non-conforming items and submit reports to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant aerospace experience.
  • Competent in using a wide range of measuring instruments and test equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data, including engineering drawings and manuals.
  • Extensive knowledge of hydraulic and electrical components.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations and ITAR an asset.
  • Previous experience as an Authorized Company Representative/Shop Certification Authority an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
