Key Responsibilities:
The Tax Manager will be responsible for:
- Coaching and mentoring tax colleagues on compliance matters, ensuring they have the necessary skills to meet client expectations.
- Establishing and maintaining deep relationships with clients, understanding their tax needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Providing expert advice on complex tax matters, helping clients navigate tax laws and regulations.
- Managing T1, T2, and T3 returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Proactively identifying and resolving tax issues, minimizing risk and maximizing opportunities.
- Leading tax practice growth and identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue and expansion.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed as a Tax Manager, you must possess:
- A CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Master's of Taxation degree, demonstrating advanced knowledge in taxation.
- The ability to develop and present innovative tax ideas, staying ahead of industry trends and changes.
- Significant experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax compliance, ensuring expertise in tax laws and regulations.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, able to coach and develop others to achieve their full potential.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
