Job Summary

This role requires the provision of comprehensive medical care, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations, to identify and address health concerns effectively.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines, ensuring accurate data collection and effective patient management.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records within electronic health record systems.
  4. Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies to promote optimal health outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals as necessary, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  6. Stay current with medical research and advancements in family medicine to enhance practice effectiveness and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  1. Hold a medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution with board certification in Family Medicine.
  2. Possess a valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
  3. Be proficient in medical terminology and understanding of acute care practices.
  4. Demonstrate experience in a medical office setting, preferably with familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner.
  5. Exhibit strong data collection skills for effective patient management and reporting.
  6. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
  7. Commit to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in family medicine.
