Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modeling complex business problems and discovering business insights through statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques.

Your Role:

  • You will contribute to building and developing the organization's data infrastructure and support senior leadership with insights, management reports, and analysis for decision-making processes.
  • You will work closely with business unit heads and service manager/owners to understand their decision-making processes, workflows, and business and information needs.
  • You will translate business needs into analytics/reporting requirements to support executive decisions and workflows with required information.
  • You will proactively mine data warehouses to identify trends and patterns and generate insights for business units and senior leadership.
  • You will perform large-scale experimentation to identify hidden relationships between variables in large datasets.
  • You will research and implement cutting-edge techniques and tools in machine learning/deep learning/artificial intelligence to make data analysis more efficient.
  • You will visualize information and develop engaging reports on the results of data analysis using data visualization tools.
  • You will develop frameworks and processes to analyze unstructured information collected through social media platforms and traditional sources.
  • You will distribute best practices to analytics and product teams and provide consultations for their data-based experimentations.

Requirements:

  • You must have a Master's degree or PhD in computer science, statistics, economics, or related fields.
  • You must have experience conducting statistical analysis with advanced statistical software, scripting languages, and packages.
  • You must have experience with big data analysis tools and techniques.
  • You must have experience building and deploying predictive models, web scraping, and scalable data pipelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services is desirable.
  • You must have up-to-date knowledge of machine learning and data analytics tools and techniques.
  • You must be experienced at leveraging both structured and unstructured data sources.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
