Unlocking Data-Driven Insights to Drive Social Impact

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team at Eva's, a leading organization dedicated to supporting homeless youth. As a key member of our Programs and Services team, you will play a critical role in analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and informing strategic decisions that drive meaningful change.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, research, and evaluation. You will work closely with our Development team to develop and implement data-driven strategies that support fundraising efforts and grant applications. Your expertise will also inform program development, service improvements, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Database Management: Maintain and optimize our Apricot database to ensure accurate and comprehensive data capture on youth progression.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct research, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and develop actionable insights to inform program and services improvements.
  • Reporting and Impact Communication: Prepare and present detailed reports, infographics, and impact communications to stakeholders, including funders, partners, and the public.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Social Sciences, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, evaluation, or research within the social services or nonprofit sector.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Salary and Benefits

This full-time position offers an estimated annual salary of $85,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include health and dental coverage, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
