Speech-language Pathologist Opportunity at Vernon Jubilee Hospital

We are seeking a skilled Speech-language Pathologist to join our team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, BC. As a casual Speech-language Pathologist, you will work in a dynamic and dedicated team of caring professionals, providing expert care to adults requiring speech, language, and swallowing services.

About the Role

This is a casual position, which means hours are not guaranteed, and days of work and shift times may vary. However, this role offers the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including outpatient and acute care services. You will have the chance to work autonomously, assessing and intervening in areas of communication and swallowing, and contributing to the organization's quality assurance initiatives.

What You'll Do

As a Speech-language Pathologist, you will work directly with clients and/or their caregivers to create environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing. You will also contribute to the organization's quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education. Your expertise in typical development and disorders of communication/swallowing will be invaluable in this role.
