About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our HR Services team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters to our English and French speaking population.

Your primary focus will be on driving our HR operating model, ensuring a great employee experience, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and diversity and inclusion. You will work closely with other functions within HR Services, as well as with other HR functions, to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR advisory services to line managers on people management issues, complex HR processes, and legal boundaries.
  • Advise on HR policies, including Reward policies and talent management processes, and escalate out-of-policy cases/requests to HR business partners.
  • Assess the feasibility and boundaries of certain people management practices in specific contexts.
  • Monitor KPIs related to quality, speed, and customer satisfaction when handling cases using our case management system.
  • Drive standardization and improvements in the way of working, including proactively addressing communication and portal content on topics that can be further standardized.
Requirements
  • Independent HR Generalist with a minimum of 1+ year of experience within a HR business partner/HR support role, preferably within a large, multinational organization.
  • Strong knowledge of HR regulations/processes, labor law, benefits, payroll, training, and related.
  • Excellent communication/consultative/partnership skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English) written and spoken.
