Operations Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Officer to join our team at TIM HORTONS. As an Inventory Management Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Coordinate and manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory to meet business needs.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics to inform business decisions.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient receipt of inventory, and coordinate with external suppliers to resolve any issues.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of inventory management equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members on inventory management procedures and best practices.
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations and provide feedback for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in inventory control software, purchasing software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, flexibility, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week
