About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanic to join our team at Biscuits Leclerc Ltd. As an Electrical Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment in our industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Component Replacement and Reconditioning: Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components as needed.
  • On-Site Servicing and Repair: Perform on-site servicing and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Wiring and Component Testing: Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Performance Testing: Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment requiring handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and manual dexterity.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a team player with a strong work ethic.
