We are seeking a highly skilled Water Projects Manager to join our team at the Government of Alberta. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical expertise in water management infrastructure.
About the Role:
- Lead a team of professionals and engage stakeholders in the planning, design, and implementation of water management projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- University undergraduate degree in Engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, or Hydrotechnical)
- Minimum of 10 years of directly related experience
- Registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA in Alberta and/or with any other recognized provincial or territorial professional engineering association
- Thorough knowledge and/or experience with water management infrastructure
