What You Can Anticipate During Your Internship:

  1. As an intern, you will collaborate with a talented group of Naval Architects, Mechanical, and Electrical engineers and technologists.
  2. Your work experience will be customized to align with your skills and interests. Whether you prefer to focus on a specific project or gain exposure across various client projects, we can accommodate your preferences.
  3. With support from your colleagues, you will engage in a diverse range of projects, including Government, Military, Commercial, Oil and Gas, and Industrial initiatives. As a co-op student/intern, you will gain invaluable experience and exposure by:
  • Contributing to the creation of technical studies, drawings/specifications, and 3D models
  • Assisting in report preparation and equipment selection
  • Participating in engineering change proposals
  • Engaging in systems integration projects
  • Developing 3D models of ship equipment and compartment layouts
  • Ensuring quality control of drawings
  • Conducting engineering analyses, including finite element analysis
  • Participating in vessel surveys and conducting ship visits
Required Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:
  • Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Naval Architecture Engineering.
  • Experience: Less than 2 years.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD.
  • Interest in Rhino or other 3D modeling software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
