Digital Customer Experience Strategist

About the Role

IPEX, a leading supplier of integrated thermoplastic piping systems in North America, is seeking an experienced Digital Customer Experience Strategist to join its team. This role will be based out of the Oakville, Ontario office and will report directly to the Director, Channel Marketing & Brand.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Website Optimization: Analyze website performance and user behavior to identify areas for improvement. Enhance UX/UI design for a seamless digital experience, collaborating with IT and marketing teams to align website updates with business objectives.
  2. Social Media Strategy: Establish and execute social media strategies for lead generation, leveraging trends, new platform features, and content creation to identify high-potential growth opportunities on current social media accounts.
  3. Customer Experience Processes: Design processes to elevate the digital customer experience, developing customer journey maps to identify enhancement opportunities and leading projects to streamline digital customer interactions.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Align digital strategies with business objectives by working with sales, marketing, and support teams, training internal teams on digital customer experience best practices, and communicating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver results.
  5. Analytics & Reporting: Use analytics tools to measure digital customer experience initiatives, preparing and presenting reports on website performance and customer satisfaction, and providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, information technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital customer experience management, website optimization via UX/UI, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of B2B customer behavior, digital marketing, and social media marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and A/B testing platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
