Acute Care Nurse Specialist in Richmond Hospital

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is a world-class innovator in medical care, research and teaching. We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care for Elders team at Richmond Hospital in Richmond, BC.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is CAD $77,150 - CAD $100,000 based on a 37.50 hour workweek.
About the Role: As an Acute Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to assigned patients/clients by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary care team. Your key responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating client care for a designated acute care elder patient/client group.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). You should also possess demonstrated ability in nursing practice related to designated client group - Acute Care for Elders/Subacute Medicine including geriatric and chronic disease patient populations.
