Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Redfort Logistics Corp. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and secure environment on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a straight truck to transport goods and materials
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety standards
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Load and unload goods, using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of hours worked, miles driven, and fuel consumption

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for long periods
