Job Title: Long Haul Truck DriverJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $60,000 - $80,000 per yearLocation: CanadaJob Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced long haul truck driver to join our team at ATL Heavy Haul Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Requirements:

  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel cross-border
  • Willing to travel for extended periods
  • Willing to travel internationally
