Concrete Finishing Assistant

PEDRON CONTRACTING LTD is seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Assistant to join our team. As a Concrete Finishing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and finishing of concrete surfaces. This includes loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. You will also mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and perform routine maintenance work. Additionally, you will remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Work SettingAs a Concrete Finishing Assistant, you will work in various locations, including high-rise building construction sites and construction sites. You will be required to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and work in physically demanding conditions.
Construction SpecializationOur team specializes in various construction projects, including driveways, industrial, commercial, and institutional, residential, sidewalks, and curbs, and poured concrete. As a Concrete Finishing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in different areas of construction.
RequirementsTo be successful as a Concrete Finishing Assistant, you will need to have no degree, certificate, or diploma. However, you will receive on-the-job training. You will also need to have excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and a safety vest, and you will need to be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs). We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and efficient individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
