Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Janitorial Event Supervisor to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division, you will be responsible for overseeing the training and development of custodial associates, ensuring a high level of service and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs for custodial associates, focusing on customer service, safety, and compliance.
  • Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to employees, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular safety performance reviews to ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management, and other applicable company/federal/provincial/local requirements.
  • Provide coaching, motivation, and development opportunities to team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the training coordinator to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 1+ years of experience in custodial supervision, with a strong background in customer service and relationship building.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to high-quality service and quality standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
