About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and reconcile sales projections to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Examine and explain variances in monthly financial results, providing recommendations for improvement and follow-up.
  • Design, create, and produce management reports for senior leadership, highlighting key financial insights and trends.
  • Continuously optimize and automate financial processes and reports to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support meetings with operations and sales teams to review financial projections and provide guidance.
  • Collaborate with the controller and vice president of finance on various projects, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement internal control procedures, improving existing processes and automating where possible.
  • Support the finance team in all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure uniform application of accounting methods across all subsidiaries (Canada, USA, Mexico).
Requirements
  • CPA designation (asset).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Power BI (asset).
  • Functional bilingualism.
  • Knowledge of an ERP system (Epicor highly valued).
