About the Role

As a Strategic Facility Planner at Fraser Health, you will play a key role in leading the planning, design, and execution of facilities for assigned service areas. This includes working with internal and external groups to develop project goals and objectives, manage budgets, and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of facilities for assigned service areas.
  • Develop and implement project goals and objectives, ensuring delivery of effective and efficient services.
  • Manage budgets and resource allocations for related projects, providing variance analysis and recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Liaise with project consultants and user groups, supervising staff and contractors to develop and maintain an effective team environment.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline such as Architecture, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • 10 years of experience in all phases of project planning and construction, inclusive of supervisory experience in a large complex organization such as health care.
  • Demonstrated leadership practices, including clear communication, caring for others, and courage in decision-making.
  • Broad knowledge of the planning and construction processes associated with facilities development, as well as comprehensive knowledge of health care and relevant government procedures, standards, and requirements.
