About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Canadian Petroleum Center Inc. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and network connectivity.
  • Problem-Solving: Research and implement solutions to complex technical problems, utilizing technical manuals, user guides, and other resources as needed.
  • User Training: Provide training and guidance to users on how to use our systems and equipment effectively.
  • Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions, ensuring that this information is readily available to other technical support analysts.
  • System Support: Provide support for business systems, networks, and internet connectivity, ensuring that users have access to the resources they need to perform their jobs.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up and configure equipment for employee use, ensuring that all necessary software and systems are properly installed and functioning.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Work Setting: Help desk environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
