About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Original Joe's Restaurant & Bar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, including cooks, kitchen helpers, and working groups.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for kitchen operations and ensure that expenses are managed effectively.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Work Environment
      • Noisy work environment.
