About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Team Lead to join our team at American Eagle Outfitters Inc. as a Part-Time employee. As a Merchandise Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring our store is always representative of our brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Merchandising Expertise: Support the Merchandising Team Leader in driving an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store is always representative of our brand standards.
  2. Floorset Execution: Drive killer Floorset execution by training and coaching the Floorset team, setting clear productivity goals, and ensuring all areas of the store are effectively executed to Floorset standards.
  3. Merchandising Innovator: Ensure the store stays in tip-top shape by owning day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment. Identify merchandising opportunities and collaborate with leadership to implement solutions.
  4. Teamwork and Collaboration: Support the Merchandising Team Leader in ensuring the team understands how to maintain our brand standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
  5. Guest-Centric Approach: Ensure the merchandising team's top priority is always the guest experience. Champion a culture of recognition and celebrate wins with the team.
  6. Integrity and Safety: Ensure store safety standards are maintained on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom. Adhere to our policies and procedures to reduce shrinkage.
Requirements
  1. Product Knowledge: Love our products and have a strong understanding of our brand.
  2. Organization and Attention to Detail: Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  3. Availability: Be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
  4. Retail Experience: Have a strong background in retail merchandising and visual skills.
